Base Attack, Special Attack and Speed are all the tools it needs to really spread some havoc, but its horrendous Ability, Defeatist, lets it down. This Ability means that its attacking stats are immediately cut in half as soon as it reaches half or less of its HP. Unfortunate weaknesses and a lack of defenses mean that most hits will really hamper it. Its job tends to be to set up Stealth Rock while preventing the opponent from doing so with its fast Taunt. It was even a good glass cannon in its own right, in the form of Mega Aerodactyl.
In competitive matches, tanky support Pokemon can be an essential part of all kinds of teams. It has colossal defenses and some nice support options like Stealth Rock and Wide Guard.
It had potential, but is just too easy to exploit. This bizarre, lumpy-faced soul is Dracovish, a Water and Dragon-type. Base power, with rain and its Strong Jaw Ability boosting it, is just monstrous to even contemplate.
With its high Attack and solid defenses, it can do some real work in the right situations. Unfortunately forgettable. Rampardos is a simple Pokemon with simple tastes. Base attack? That really is absurd. Archen is from plume and tirtouga is from cover. As for the other it gives you a pretty cool bulky water type which unfortunately is really bad against grass types.
If the player revives the fossil, it becomes Archen. To get these fossils, talk to a man in one of the lower caves of Twist Mountain. Once a day, he will give you one fossil at random. There are actually two places where you can get a Fossil, one place is within Relic Castle which is in Desert Resort just off of Route 4, enter in the Right entrance and visit a man on that floor and he will let you choose either a Cover Fossil or a Plume Fossil.
The only way you will be able to get Tirtouga is to hatch 7KM eggs. Also, you should note that there is no guaranty that the 7KM egg you hatch will give you Tirtouga.
Miniature games. Archen is from plume and tirtouga is from cover. As for the other it gives you a pretty cool bulky water type which unfortunately is really bad against grass types.
It appears to be part of its back. It appears as though it could be part of its back. You are correct. Take your pick. Pokemon Moon Fossils — Plume and Armor. Pokemon Moon has its own fossils, different from those of Sun. You can buy both the Plume and Armor fossils from her, rather than having to choose one over the other. As always, your fossil is useless until you take it to a research center that can turn it into a living Pokemon. Head over to Route 8 and find the side path leading to the Fossil Center.
